The Happy Rollers is a newly established place for sailors to meet and enjoy their well deserved shoreleave. We have our own bar/restaurant in the middle of the Port of Rotterdam. Sailors can book a taxi to our bar with two welcome drinks included in the price. You will not find a better deal during your portstay.
The price of this service is €10 or $15 and this includes the following:
– Pick up from the terminal
– 2 welcome drinks (beer, wine, soft drink or just one hard liquor)
– Delivery back to the terminal
Everyone is welcome at the Happy Rollers .We have truck drivers coming over as well as the CEO’s of the respectable port companies from all over the area. From the cadet trainee to the captain, everyone is welcome.
The first half of the crew just wants to drink a beer at a bar, and the other half is desperate for a meal prepared by somebody else as the same chief cook for the last weeks? Both is possible with us, drinking at the bar or have a fresh and delicious meal at one of the tables.
We can also prepare complete tours to other places in Rotterdam and beyond. Please go the the page places of interest and send us a request. We will revert shortly after with a fully customized tour based on your requirements. We are happy to show you the very best of our city.
The Kitchen
We take great pride in serving you the best possible meals. We get our vegetables directly from the farmer, the fish from the fisherman and the meat is personally chosen by our chief cook.
The Bar
Whatever you want to drink, just a black coffee or sweet cold beer, you are welcome at our bar. Of course we will also have spirits if you require something stronger during your shoreleave.
Terrace
You can also eat and drink on our terrace, this is the place to be if you want to smoke during your drinking and/or eating. Unfortunately smoking is prohibited inside due to Dutch smoking law.
